BOX OF LIGHTS

Winner of Best Interior Design at the LOOP Design Awards, this laneway house proves that thoughtful design can make small spaces live large. Every square foot works harder through multi-functional spaces and strategic storage solutions.

West Coast aesthetics meet Japanese spatial efficiency: clean lines, natural wood tones, and carefully edited material choices create visual calm in the 1,400-square-foot interior. The young couple clients needed flexibility for future family growth, so we designed adaptable spaces that can evolve. A home office converts to a nursery, built-in seating includes hidden storage, and the open kitchen-living area maintains separation through subtle level changes rather than walls. Large windows and a neutral palette amplify the sense of space, creating the luminous quality that inspired the project's name.
